Artsology was recently introduced to the music of an artist named "Trombone Shorty." What struck us was that he creates new and hip music with a taste of jazz, rock and funk, using an instrument, the trombone, which has historically been used in wind ensembles, concert bands, symphony orchestras, marching bands, and big bands.
