The DeKooning vs. Pollock Tennis Match

In the 1950's, the painters Willem DeKooning and Jackson Pollock were both becoming famous for their art. They lived in New York City, knew each other, and felt very competitive about their paintings. Both wanted to be the most-famous and most-respected artist in New York. So, rather than argue about their merits at the Cedar Tavern, Artsology suggests that they settle their differences in a competition suitable for gentlemen: on the tennis court (see game instructions below).
