Artsology Privacy Policy

General information:

Artsology is committed to protecting the privacy of Internet users, and does not collect any information other than the names and e-mail addresses of those who willfully submit them in order to receive our monthly newsletter. Any personal information submitted to Artsology is not shared, rented or sold to third parties. You will never receive e-mail, phone calls, or direct mailings from Artsology unless you specifically request them. Artsology does not make unsolicited contact, and if you should receive unsolicited mail that appears to be from Artsology, please contact us so that we may track down and eliminate this infringement. Artsology cannot be liable for unknown parties who might attempt to hijack our e-mail address for spamming purposes; this has never happened to date and we are committed to protecting ourselves and our viewers. We want to be notified if such an event has taken place so that we can take action immediately.

The issue of "cookies":

Artsology does not use "cookie" technology. Artsology does not install any software or code scripts onto your computer. We simply want you to enjoy Artsology.

For Newsletter subscribers:

When you sign up for our free newsletter, we are collecting your e-mail address in order to send the newsletter only. If you are under the age of 13, you must provide parental consent before signing up for the newsletter. This information will not be shared, rented or sold to third parties. If you have been sent a newsletter and you did not sign up to receive it, or if you choose to no longer receive our newsletters, you may remove yourself from this list at any time by simply sending us an e-mail request.

Children under 13 may not submit personal information to Artsology without parental consent:

Artsology cares about the safety and privacy of all children online, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). We encourage parents to be aware of their children's online activity. A parent may review any personal information that has been submitted, ask to have it deleted at any time and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the personal information. Please keep in mind that any personal information ever collected at Artsology is for internal purposes only, and never released to third parties.

Artsology's relationship with Amazon.com and personal information provided when purchasing goods through this program:

Any person who purchases goods through Artsology's Amazon Affiliate Program is the sole customer of Amazon.com - all information collected by Amazon.com falls under the terms of Amazon.com's privacy policy. Artsology does not receive any information whatsoever about customers who buy through the Amazon Affiliate Program; Artsology merely retains a "referral fee" on what is treated as an anonymous purchase directed to Amazon.com from Artsology.

The Artsology Store - coming soon:

The Artsology Store will offer unique products created by the Artsology team. Purchases of these products will be available through PayPal, and their privacy policy is available for viewing here. Artsology will retain customer information for the sole purpose of being able to provide top quality customer service; this information will not be shared, rented or sold to third parties.
