Jack Kerouac was an American novelist who is best known for his book "On The Road." Kerouac and his contemporaries, such as William Burroughs and Allen Ginsburg, among others, were considered the "Beat Generation." This videos has Kerouac himself reading from "On The Road" and the pictures are primarily of Kerouac, although there are some pictures of Neal Cassidy, who was the inspiration for the character "Dean Moriaty" in the book.
