I’ve seen plenty of street art on U.S. postal stickers before, but usually they’re just on one sticker and quickly “slapped” up on walls and other locations. I saw this piece in the Chelsea neighborhood recently, and it caught my attention, not only for the artistic style, but the fact that it’s an unusually-shaped collage of multiple postal stickers. As you might be able to see, it says “ICUMOVEMENT” across the bottom, and when I Google-searched that, I found out that the artist is a woman named Joy, whose Instagram feed includes the phrases “Get lost often,” “Acknowledge everything,” and “ART saves me.” All good advice, I’d say.
