Frida Kahlo at The Met

As I was getting my ticket to enter the Metropolitan Museum of Art yesterday, I realized that the woman behind the counter had a Frida Kahlo look … her hair was braided in a crown style and she had long earrings, the only thing she was missing was the unibrow. I tried to discreetly snap a picture of her, and as you can see, it’s not a great shot, but maybe you can see the resemblance that I saw.

Wouldn’t it be fun if the Met or other museums hired famous artist look-alikes to sell tickets or be security guards? Imagine the fun you could have if someone who looked like Van Gogh told you to step back away from the sunflowers, or the self-portrait as we see below?
